Список альбомов № 1 2000-х годов (Чарт альбомов Соединённого Королевства, UK Albums Chart) включает только те альбомы, которые достигли № 1 в рейтинге продаж музыкальных альбомов в Великобритании 2000-х годов. Еженедельно составляется «The Official Charts Company» (ОСС) и публикуется в журнале «Music Week»[1] (лучшие 75) и на официальном сайте ОСС[2] (лучшие 100). Компания Official Charts Company (OCC) совместно с представителями Британской музиндустрии (Британская ассоциация производителей фонограмм и Британская ассоциация дилеров звукозаписей) до 2007 году учитывали только продажи на физических компакт-дисках, после чего также стали включать продажи цифровых альбомов[3]. OCC определяет понятие «альбом» как любой музыкальный релиз с более чем 4 треками или длиннее чем 25 минут[4]. Каждую неделю новый альбом № 1 анонсируется в воскресенье вечером на радио BBC Radio 1 в их еженедельном радио-шоу[5].
