Мирон, Дан

Мирон является почётным профессором Еврейского университета в Иерусалиме. В настоящее время он занимает должность профессора иврита имени Леонарда Кея на кафедре ближневосточных, южноазиатских и африканских исследований (MESAAS) в Колумбийском университете^[3].

С 1950-х годов профессор Мирон опубликовал десятки книг и сотни статей о различных современных писателях на иврите и идише, включая Хаима Нахмана Бялика, Натана Альтермана, Ури Цви Гринберга и Шолом-Алейхема.

В 2012 году Мирон совместно с Ифтахом Алони и Лили Перри основал издательство израильской литературы Afik^[4][5].

• В 1980 году Мирон был удостоен премии Бялика за еврейскую мысль^[6].
• В 1998 году он получил премию Ицика Мангера за вклад в литературу на идише.
• В 1993 году он получил Премию Израиля за литературу на иврите^[3].
• В 2010 году он выиграл Национальную еврейскую книжную премию в категории «Наука» за книгу From Continuity to Contiguity^[7].
• В 2020 году он был избран членом Израильской академии естественных и гуманитарных наук^[8].
• Газета The Jewish Daily Forward назвала Мирона «старейшиной израильской литературной критики»^[9].
