Биография
Специализируется на эволюционных вычислительных моделях человеческого языка и его развития.
В настоящее время занимает должность профессора эволюции языка в Эдинбургском университете, где является директором аспирантуры и руководителем магистерской программы по эволюции языка и познания. Совместно с участниками экспериментальной поп-группы FOUND создал Cybraphon — «автономную эмоциональную робот-группу» в шкафу[2], которая в 2009 году получила премию BAFTA.
