Geissorhiza

Geissorhiza (лат.) — род многолетних травянистых клубнелуковичных растений семейства Ирисовые подсемейства Шафрановые (Crocoideae). Весь род является эндемичным для Капской провинции на западе Южной Африки. Название рода происходит от греческих слов geisson, что означает «плитка», и rhizon, что означает «корень»[2].
