Alvania cancellata (лат.) — вид морских брюхоногих моллюсков из рода Alvania, принадлежащего к семейству Риссоидов[1].

Описание
Длина раковины варьируется от 2 до 5 мм.
Раковина желтовато-белого оттенка и содержит 6-7 выпуклых витков. Шпиль остроконечный. Шов широко желобчатый. Апертура расширена, коричнево-красная. Наружная губа снаружи венечно варикозная. Колумелла бугорчатая в передней части.
Распространение
Вид встречается в Средиземном море (Корсика, Греция), в восточной части Атлантического океана у островов Гернси и Корнуолл, в Западной Африке, а также у Азорских островов и в регионе Мадейра.
Ископаемые останки данного вида были обнаружены в слоях плейстоценовой эпохи недалеко от Мессины и Палермо на Сицилии[2].
