Трипоксилы
Трипоксилы[1], или тлееды[2] (Trypoxylon) — один из крупнейших родов песочных ос из подсемейства Crabroninae (триба Trypoxylini). Более 600 видов.

Распространение
Описание
Мелкого и среднего размера стройные осы с удлинённым брюшком, как правило чёрного цвета, реже с рыже-красными пятнами на брюшке. Переднее крыло с 1 радиомедиальной и 1 дискоидальной ячейками. Гнёзда в готовых полостях (стеблях, ходах ксилофагов, галлах, гнёздах одиночных ос или пчёл). Ловят пауков[4].
