Премия American Music за Лучший саундтрек (англ. Top Soundtrack) вручается с 1996 года. Годы отражают год вручения наград для работ, выпущенных в предыдущем году (до 2003 года, когда награды были вручены в ноябре того же года). Первоначально названный Любимый саундтрек (англ. Favorite Soundtrack), серия «Идеальный голос» — единственная серия фильмов, в которой все их фильмы победили в этой категории.
