Леннард, Джон

Леннард вырос в Бристоле и получил образование в Бристольской грамматической школе и Новом колледже Оксфорда. Его докторская диссертация об использовании скобок в английской литературе была опубликована издательством Clarendon Press в виде монографии But I Digress и названа «домом наслаждений, а не книгой»^[1], а также «самой странной книгой, на которую я когда-либо писала рецензию»^[2].
