Бейн, Уильям (преподаватель)
Уи́льям Бейн (англ. William Bain; род. 1967) — британский преподаватель, профессор Национального университета Сингапура[1][2]. Ранее работал старшим преподавателем на кафедре международной политики в Университете Уэльса в Аберистуите.
Биография
Уильям Бейн получил степень бакалавра в Университете Южной Каролины. Затем он продолжил обучение в Университете Британской Колумбии в Ванкувере, где получил степени магистра и доктора философии. До перехода в Университет Уэльса в Аберистуите он читал лекции в Университете Глазго по теории международных отношений, международной этике и политической мысли XVIII века. В прошлом служил в морской пехоте и участвовал в войне в Персидском заливе.
Научные интересы
Основные научные интересы Уильяма Бейна включают теорию международных отношений и нормативные подходы к мировым делам. Он является автором двух книг: Between Anarchy and Society: Trusteeship and the Obligations of Power и Political Theology of International Order. Также он выступил редактором и соавтором изданий Medieval Foundations of International Relations и The Empire of Security and the Safety of the People.
